The market report

The market report is free and there is no obligation to sell. Third-party figures in it (such as KBB Instant Cash Offer, CarMax and Carvana) are what those companies showed when your buyer checked, on the date and time shown. They depend on each company’s own terms and inspection, can change, and are not offers from Lakeway. Recent-sales figures are estimates.

Our firm offer

Lakeway’s firm offer is made on the market of the day it is made and on the condition, mileage, title and payoff details you give us. We confirm those when we see the vehicle. If they match, we honor the offer. If they don’t, your buyer explains what changed and gives you a new number, which you are free to turn down. On a later day, your buyer re-checks the market and confirms the number with you before anything is signed. Nothing is binding until both sides sign the bill of sale.

Payment, pickup and paperwork

You are paid on the spot, and funds are verified before you release the vehicle. Pickup is included in the offer. Where there is a loan, we pay the lender directly from the purchase price. The forms on our Before you sign pages show what you sign. Tennessee law governs the sale.
